Karen Dragomier Obituary
Karen Rebecca (Hilborn) Dragomier, age 81, entered The Church Triumphant Friday, January 12th, 2024 to be with Our Lord after a brief illness. She was born in Canton, Ohio March 6th 1942. Mrs. Dragomier graduated from Lincoln High School in 1960. After graduating from Raedel Secretarial College, she was employed by the Stark County Board of Education for fifteen years. She then worked for Northeast Natural Gas for an additional twelve years. She retired from Loeb Properties in Memphis, TN after ten years in the accounting department where she reported directly to the Controller. She is preceded in death by her loving husband John David to whom she was married for 59 years, She is survived by one daughter, Suzanne Dragomier of North Canton and one son John Anthony, daughter-in-law Melinda (Johnson) Dragomier, two grandchildren, Anthony David and Grace Rebecca Dragomier, of Canton. Also, survived by cousins Kathleen Booth, Susan Davis, Thomas and Timothy Miller, one Brother-in-law, Gary (Barb) Dragomier and sister-in-law Lynne Dragomier both of North Canton and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Helen Hilborn. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone at Aultman Woodlawn Compassionate Care for the excellent care they provided, not only to Karen but to her family as well. There will be no calling hours. Funeral service will be held at St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church on Saturday at 12;30 with Rev. Dr. Bruce Roth officiating, followed by a celebration of life for family and friends. Burial will be private in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
